Confused

I am a 27 year old female, and I am very confused by my doctor. I had breast surgery almost 9 months ago and it came back negative for cancer but his exact words were "we don't know what it is". About 7 months ago I started to have irregular bleeding and severe pain similar to cramping. They found that I had a cyst on my left ovary on the first ulrasound. I went back for a repeat ultrasound and it was gone. Eventhough I still was in pain the doctor said to continue with my birth control pill. I since went back and had another ultrasound and he apologized because he said there is a spot on my uterus and he wants to do surgery to scrap the spot and do a D & C. At this point I'm not sure if I'm comfortable with him and what all of these symtoms could point to so any feed back would be very helpful .

Hi Beth,

I see that you wrote this about 2 months ago. What happened? Did you continue to stick with your doctor or did you end up "scraping" him? It sounds like to me that's he's jerking your chain. If I were you, I think I would find a female doctor and even a PA. If you get a physician's assistant, they are more likely to dig in and not leave any questions unanswered.

I'm curious to know how things are going, so let me know.

Thanks!
