Estrogen patch hormone treatment

Does anyone have any information on the use of estrogen patches to treat prostate cancer? I had brachytherapy 2 1/2 years ago and my PSA is going back up. My doctors think I need to start hormone therapy. I read that they are experimenting with the patches in England.

GeneI used Estraderm 0.1 mg/day patches for 2 months. PSA dropped from 35 to 13.8. I know of others using as much as 21 patches at one time. I was castrated 13 years ago and felt a surge of energy and good feeling when I used the estrogen.
