Concerned my Mother Has pc

Hi,

I'm new to the message board, and don't want to burden anyone, but am concerned about my mother's strange symptoms. She's had blood tests (normal so far, including T-cell count) but is not feeling well. Symptoms include frequent infections (including tooth abscesses and recent pneumonia), jaundice (especially late afternoon and after a meal), personality changes, floaters in the eyes, nausea, shortness of breath,
sweating and chills, weakness, drowsiness in the afternoon, shakiness, bloating, frequent urination, abdominal pain (esp. right side), loss of appetite, diarrhea, indigestion.

She refuses to go for an MRI or colonoscopy to see if anything is wrong internally (age 62 and stubborn).

Do these symptoms indicate possible pancreatic cancer? I know she would need to see a doctor to confirm diagnosis, but do these symptoms ring a bell for anyone?

Thanks. I am so worried.

Sorry to hear about your mother, I really did not have any of those symptoms.
Having a MRI/Colonoscopy done is the best thing, however, do you think she will go for a Cat Scan with contrast?
That is what showed up my PC.
Or have her try the open MRI.
Best of luck.

Symptoms of PC would include jaundice or back pain depending upon the location of the tumor. In addition weight loss and fatigue are common, however she would need a CT or other imaging to confirm the diagnosis.
