Virotherapy

Mayo clinic has a clinical trial using the measles vaccine, which has no side effects & works very well. It is injected into the peritoneal cavity & the measles virus destroys the all of the cancer cells that it can reach, before the antibodies get to the virus.
Virotherapy has been around for awhile, but the FDA has never let it out of clinical trials, because the profit margin is too low. Hungary has been using the Newcastles vaccine for years, which is a chicken vaccine, & it has worked well. They use it in a nasal spray. It can be taken through various routes; enema's, inhalation, oral, etc.
Check it out. Some vaccines are obtainable & NCI has lists of the clinical trials using them.

Virotherapy

There are a number of viruses that destroy cancer in our bodies. They have a symbiotic relationship with us & have been with us for a long time. Measles & Mumps are just a couple of these & the cancer rate was much lower, when these viruses swept through the population every year. With the invention of the vaccines, which have really helped our children, the cancer rate has increased, because these viral infections are rare now. These are lytic viruses, from which cancer cells have no defense. The viruses keep killing cancer cells, until our antibodies build up & wipe them out.
The Mayo clinic has a clinical trial now, using a modified measles vaccine to destroy ovarian cancer, which is having very good success with this virotherapy. Look up the NCI sites on virotherapy.

Virotherapy

Do you know if this has ever been used for peritoneal carcinomatosis from colon cancer? It is not dissimilar to advanced ovarian cancer, in that the peritoneal cavity is seeded with cancer cells. My husband was recently diagonosed with this condition and we are anxiously looking for any/all options. We have been told by his oncologist that there is no cure. Any information would be greatly appreciated! thank you Vicki3

Virotherapy

Yes this has been used for colon cancer with very good sucess. Only in clinical trials here, but regular use in Europe, especially in Germany & Hungary. Do some research on Newcastles Vavvine[NDV] & check the NCI writeup on it & other virotherapy. NDV is a vetinary vaccine & is quite harmless. Let me know if you have any more questions & it is curable with this.

They will connect you to their medical school program in Hungary. The costs are around $900, which is very inexpensive. Their virotherapy program has a very high success rate & it targets the cancer cells. If you have any more questions, please write.

Virotherapy

There are no side effects. The first time that you are given it you may have a slight fever, due to your immune response, but no reaction after that. This has been used in clinical trials for many years, but the FDA has never let it out of trials, so other countries are using it with incredible results, while we stay in the dark ages.

And if it does can it mutate?

Virotherapy

The virus is actually destroyed by your antibodies, so repeated dosages are needed to be successful. The viruses used in the trials are quite harmless, but are very destructive to the cancer cells. There are several lytic viruses that have a symbiotic relationship with us. They help us with cancers & we help them to exist.

Virotherapy Side Effects

My little brother has leukemia. I don't really know that much about it, but I heard about virotherapy in my biology class. I have been wondering if that might be more effective than chemotherapy since it doesn't have any real side effects. Any help you could give me on general info or anything about virotherapy would be a BIG help!

Virotherapy

The virus is destroyed & is no longer present in your system. It only targets the cancer cells, because they have a defective interferon pathway, so they can't stop the virus, wheras your normal cells easily block it with interferon & the antibodies from your immune system finish it off. It's safe & has been tested in many clinical trials for years. NCI has quite a writeup on it on their website.

Ndv Virotherapy

Newcastle Disease Virus "NDV" is a bird virus, and unlike the Herpes virus and other potential oncolytic viruses it is not considered pathogenic to humans. This is important for two main reasons: first, the virus meets relatively low resistance from the patient's immune system which can otherwise reduce the effectiveness of the treatment. The second reason has to do with the fact that being a bird virus, NDV has a very low risk of a mutation that will cause it to become dangerous to humans. Furthermore, being an RNA virus it would not integrate into cell DNA genome.
The ability of NDV to specifically target cancer cells is exceptionally high and therefore toxicity of the virus to normal tissues is minimal.
The NDV virus used in the clinical trials is an attenuated strain which does not pose any danger to anyone, but it targets cancer cells & destroys them.

Is there anyone you can hook me up with that has sucessfully
used NDV for ovarian cancer. My mom is in need of second line
treatment, and we would feel so much better if we could at
least talk to someone who has had first hand experience.
Thank you in advance!

Ndv

Yes I can.
First of all I would like for you to see if you can get your mom into the clinical trail for Ovarian cancer at the Mayo Clinic. They are using the Measles vaccine, with the same results & she would have all of the wonderful medical support there that she needed. That would be ideal. If they are booked up for awhile, then please contact me & I can show you where else she can go for the NDV, such as the program in Hungary, which costs around $900.
You can e-mail me at --- Message edited by CancerCompass staff: for personal protection, email address removed. Please review CancerCompass Member Guidelines at http://www.cancercompass.com/common/guidelines.html ----, to show you their site, but please try the Mayo Clinic trial with the Measles vaccine first, because of the wonderful support there. I will be in their PhD Vireotherapy program.
