Advice/contacts

My husband age 39, was just diagnosed with Stage 1V colon cancer, there are 2 tumors on his liver. He has had surgery and just started chemo. He has been so sick with the chemo. I am trying to hold it together for both him and the kids. I know how important it is to reduce stress to keep his immune system up. Here is my problem, we had been in & out of financial problems with our house payments, he got us in an agreement and things were ok, but I was late on the payment in November and they sent back the payment and said we were going to be foreclosed now. We have equity in the house, but I need to be connected with someone that will refinance at a lower interest rate. I have a good job, but I don't know what to do now. Most places said I need $7000 to cover closing costs. If I had that I would not be in this mess. It just stinks. He was out of work for a while and just passed his exams and was working many hours as a EMT and our future looked so much better when this hit. I could barely hold it together and now this. Please help. I am not looking for handouts or money or donations, just someone to refinance for me. This is so new to me to ask for help.

I'm sorry to hear about your husband and your financial problems. I just recently refinanced my home. --- Message edited by CancerCompass staff: for personal protection, personal information removed.
