Supporting my Best Friend in The World

I just got a call from my best friend. Calling her a best friend is a huge understatement, she is my other half, she is my soul, she is my meaning to life, my soul mate. We have not spoken in one year, we had a fight, I don't remember what about, we have never had a fight come between us but somehow we have not spoken in the last year, I have thought about her every day. Well, I got a Christmas card from her with her new number one it and I called right away. She told me exactly four hours ago that she has stage four cervical cancer. After our talk I went online to check it out. The information I have read tells me that it is almost incurable, is this really true? She has an eight year old daughter and a 13 year old son, she is only 32, please tell me my other half can make it, does she have a chance?

I just wanted to reply and tell you how sorry I am. I am new to the board, just found out I have cervical cancer, don't even know what stage yet. I am also 12 weeks pregnant. I do however know personally of someone who has survived stage IV Cervical Cancer. It was actually a good friends mother. The ladies here seem much more knowledgable about it all then me and I am sure you will get some answers to your question.
