Has Anyone Had Radioactive Sphere Treatment/radioembolization?

I have posted several times on this web site regarding my Dad (age 64) who was recently diagnosed with stage IV cholangiocarcinoma. I am wondering if anyone out there has had the Radioactive Sphere treatment (also called Radioembolization) done. I have read that it has better results than chemotherapy, however I couldn't find a post saying that anyone on this site has had the procedure. I think it has only been out for a couple years. I feel like I am living in a nightmare. I am just hoping that this treatment will extend his life. I read in one article that on average it increases life expectancy by two years.

Thank you.

Spheres

Have you started yet? Can you tell me more about your cancer? My Dad had radiofrequency ablation and had complications. Now they are saying that his body couldn't handle the radioactive sphere treatment, but he could try chemo. I still would like to hear about your treatment, since things can change. Thank you and good luck!
