One of the caveats in the literature they gave me states "this medication may have temporary or permanent effects on your hearing, such as ringing or a stuffed sensation in the ears, hearing loss of high frequency sounds, and difficulty hearing in background noise." I already have all of the above in one of my ears but the other is fine. Is this just a warning or have any of you who have had this treatment actually had hearing problems? Did they go away? I never associated it with the Chemo? I've been off that chemo for over a year. I'm doing Nexavar now just started 7-13-07. I have a rare lung cancer- Basil Cell Carcinoma, it's normally a surface skin cancer ??? My Dr. are not sure HOW? I'm at stage IV. I stay positive rely on GOD, Family & Friends .
