Vac Wound Care

After my skin cancer was removed from the lower leg, doctor said the area wasn't healing. I was given a VAC machine that is attached to the wound, is painless, and is said to speed healing. I've only had it a few days, so I don't know how well I'm doing yet. Has anyone out there used this before? What was your outcome? Has it been successful for you? Thanks.
