Mother is diabetic and is starting chemotherapy

I would like advice on what to ask a doctor regarding her care and being a diabetic. I know there will be areas of concern.

It is very important for her to eat as much as possible and not worry too much about sugar and carbo intake. Her body will need all the calories it can get. I would ask doctors to recommend good supplements. Some doctors don't believe in the benefits of supplements. From my experience with cancer and chemo I firmly believe in boosting the immune system as much as possible. Chemo kills everything not just the bad cells. PLEASE look into good supplements. If you want brand names please email me.
