My CA 19-9 marker is 27. The doctor requested the test to eliminate a PC diagnosis. I came to the ER with sharp pain in my upper right quadrant and after an ERCP found I had a bile duct stricture that they feared was malignant. Although I am incredibly relieved by this, the possiblity that I had PC has made me aware of what a horrible toll it takes on people. I will do all I can to make people aware of this disease. God Bless you all in your journey and you will all be in my prayers. Never give up hope that a cure will be found.
