      <title>Tarceva ,high Blood Pressure&amp;hiccups</title>
      <description>hello everyone,
my husband don is in the hospital and will be moved to the cancer unit today or tommorow.

last friday his blood preasure shot to the roof and we went to 3 doctors who kept giving him more blood pressure medicine and said wait...it takes time.

now we went staight to the doctors and then straight to the hospital for admitting, after waiting 5 hrs, after his vomiting severe head aches he ended in a seizure banging his head on the hospital bed and yes,we almost lost don,but he made it,yes he made it!!!! yes!!!!!thank you lord.

his hiccups have been with him for 4 days non stop,no sleep except last night off and on.

he's doing better with a lot of blood pressure medicine and pepcid for acid reflux,he's taking n.....? they plan on giving him thorazine? they don't want to but they will have to.

Anyone else with these problems? Yes i'm nervous,i'm scared to death and so is he,he's trying and doing what he can to hold on,he said it's driving him crazy!!!! Also with belching, berps, he's so tired-sleep deprivation they say.

Have to get back to the hospital, children are there, thank god,it's been horrible,i haven't left his side until today, had to let all concerned know what's going on,and find out
If there are others out there with the same problems, prayers are most welcome, priscilla wife to don-i will check back&amp;quot;when we get home

      <title>Tarceva Aaand Hiccups</title>
<description>My husband did not have hiccups or hi bp from the tarceva - he had hiccups from one of the medications that were given to him during chemo (carplatin) to prevent nausea. They gave him thorazine and it did not work so they gave him another drug - baclofen - for the hiccups - it worked like a charm and did not have the side effects of the thorazine (which was awful). I hope everything turns out well for you
