Bile Duct Cancer, Post-whipple Procedure

My 65 yr old mom had a whipple done about 3 weeks ago. She's been home for a week & recovering beautifully, but now we found out the initial pathology report was wrong. It has gotten into the lymph nodes. My mom has to go for the full 6mos of chemo and full radiation. I can't even think about what that means, or what comes after. I don't understand how this could happen or why this is happening to her when she deserves SO much better and I can't stand the thought of her in pain. How do I give her support? How can I help her through this?

The information websites I try to look up are so confusing & I can't tell which natural supplements are good for bile duct cancer. I don't know where to start?

Please someone give me some help and hope, I'm kind of freaking out.
