Husband Does Not Want Chemo

He is doing radiation treatment (10 of them) for the entire head, he has 12 tumors in his brain and cancer of the lung.
The doctor said after radiation treatment they want to do a pet scan and then chemo/radiation to the lung. The doctor also said it would make him sick and not want to eat and his chest would burn and he wouldn't feel good. My husband wanted to know the truth and I guess he was told the truth. But he does not at this time want chemo.

He had a bad day yesterday with mood swings and hateful. Today he woke up wonderful and has been happy all day. He can not take any stress or have to make decision's. He is also depressed and I hope they will give him something for that soon.

It's only been two weeks since we found all this out but it seems like forever.

I pray for all of us going through this.

Chemo Alternative

I was diag. with NSCLC with bone mets march of 2004. Stage 4 lung cancer is usually 5-8 months the doc told me. Did 70 rounds of radiation and 20 rounds of chemo, that was killing me so I quit it and found a Vibe Machine. Was told in April 06 all my cancer was gone but 2 spots on spine and in May 06 all the cancer was gone. I try to tell people about this machine and most don't believe me. I prayed to Jesus every night for my healing and promised to return that favor 10,000 fold by telling other cancer patients how I did it. The part I wasn't ready for was the reaction of most I tried to tell which was very negative and sometimes very nasty. Most believe there is nothing but surgery, chemo, and radiation. I'm 47 and am not ready to die, I want to be here for my first grandchild. So if I listened to the doc's on my time left and the 'get your affairs in order' I would have been done in 2004. Info can be found on www.vibemachine.com. I don't sell these machines, I just used one to save my life. Good luck, keep the chin up because I know attitude really helps in the battle and definitly keep depression at bay.

Vibe Machine

I am very interested in your experience with the VIBE Machine since my daughter, who has been battling ovarian cancer for nearly 5 years has just begun VIBE treatments. Her boyfriend, Dr. Anthony G in Revere, MA has purchased a machine for his practice and she has begun to use it and will be using it one time each day for the next few weeks to see her response.

She too has mets in her lungs and lymphatic system, and has been undergoing radiation treatments but not chemo....Refuses to compromise her immune system. Will be going for treatment in CA at the Issels Center in Dec, 2006 and will have a month of the VIBE by then.

Please let us know how you are doing.

Hopeful Mom in Hershey, PA....
