Please Help me on What to Expect

I'm a 63 year old man who was dianosgned with HHC and had a resection Nov.31 05.Doctors at first would not operate due to size but went ahead .Declared me"cancer free" (I know that doesn't mean cured)and I went home--no chemo,no radiation because of it being HHC.Now 4 months later a cat scan/blood panel shows anonmalies at the liver/surgical site.Doctors say"Not good, really really not good".I have a meeting with them in 3 days--Thursday--please tell me if you know of anything that I can suggest to them.I got the impression today when the Doctor called that he feels I should just make peace.I have really been practising power of positive thinking ,getting rest ,eating right .etc,etc.Any suggestions would really be appreciated. Also, how do we tell our families who have believed I was cured?

Second Opinion

You can get a second opinion anytime. I would not give up. Try one of the large treatment centers, like Sloan Kettering or M. D. Anderson. Also I would ask about Tarceva. Tarceva is being used with liver cancer with some success.

Liver Cancer

My husband was diagnosed with lung/liver cancer, Sept 05. He could not have surgery, because it was spread throughout. He went on chemo, the first treatment didn't work, so now he's on a new chemo. But in January, when he got the bad news, he agreed to go on Flor-Essence. He takes it three times a day {we brew it ourselves-much cheaper} I have used it for 10 yrs, I had melignant melanoma, and refused any treatment, except a small surgery to remove it, but they told me they didn't get it all. Then I found a wonderful supplement called IMMPOWER! It works fast, unlike the traditional slow natural therepys. You can get all the research info from Harmony Conpany for your Drs. But, purchase it from Better Health International. They are much cheaper, {$26 for six days, at 3 grams a day} My husband feels amazingly better.

Support

Hi, I'm very sorry to hear about your cancer. I lost my mom and dad to cancer 10 yrs ago. Mosie is my sister and she was telling me about your story and I just wanted to say DO NOT LOSE HOPE!! My sister is very smart. She has done so much research over the yrs for various things and has many books on alternative/natural choices. I have gone to her many times for advice for certain situations and what might be helpful. It has always worked. One thing she didn't tell you about my brother-in-law is that they too went and got a second opinion. The 1st set of drs. gave him NO HOPE at all. When they switched to a cancer center they were given HOPE and have great confidence in the new doctor. One thing I do know from past experience is to FIGHT WITH ALL YOU HAVE! I hope it all works out well for you.

Immpower

Hi Mosie,

I was reading your reply to a board re Immpower. Can you tell me more about this? Is this a vitamin?

My dad was diagnosed with HCC and so far, his body has not reacted well to chemotherapy. One of the doctors have recommended sorafenib. I have been reading other posts and see that the side effects can get pretty nasty.

Can you pls tell me more about Immpower and other recommendations that you may have?

Thanks.
