      <title>Urination at Night While Sleeping</title>
<description>Hope someone can help me with this problem i'm having.I have a neobladder and it is 12 weeks old
I seem to be able ,in the long run,to control the urination during the day But at night I seem to wake up at all different times and I am soaked in urine. Is this happening to anyone else or is it just me.I keep changing my clothes at least 4 times a night. If anyone could give me some advice it would be greatly appreciated.</description>

      <title>Sleeping</title>
      <description>Hi Mike,

How many cc's are you urinating during the day and how often? Do you stop drinking two hours before bedtime? Another method that works for most is to set the alarm for every two hours and void before you leak, then every week increase by 1/2 hour until you can go four hours. Practice starting and stopping your flow during the day this will help strenghten the sphincter muscles which hold the urin in your bladder. Where did you have your surgery done and how long was your operation?

      <title>Urinating @ Night While Sleeping</title>
      <description>Hi Mike,
Go to a medical supply store and buy a urine measuring bowl that fits in your toilet so you know haow much you are urinating. When your neobladder was new it could only hold about 100-150 cc's you will need to get that up to 500 but not more than that, there are problems with a neobladder that is too large it can be very hard to get empty. The closer to 500 cc's you get the better the night time control will be.
I found that if I used a Depends and a baby crib matterres pad with a towel over it over my sheets I was the only thing getting wet so it was pretty easy to get up and wash up and change the Depends and get back to sleep. you can go to www.depends.com and print coupons.
any other questions please ask.
