3 Month Check

Had a radical on my left kidney removing a 9cm tumor first week in Feb. Pathology report said it was confined to kidney and a Stage 2, except for usual numbness under the incision I feel great. Going for my first 3 month cat scans on Tuesday wish me luck.

3 Month Check up

BigGuy: How was your checkup? We were told last week that our surgeon did an excellent job of cleaning out the area when my husband's left kidney and adjoining adrenal gland were removed the end of March. It had not gotten to the lymph glands and subsequent SCANS and MRI's show him to be free of cancer growth at this time. We will be going for the same check ups as you every three months. You mentioned you felt great... he has had a LOT of soreness in his stomach and no appetite, togetherwith general tiredness. It being Spring he would like to feel better but they tell him to take it easy for at least one more month. He is a Big Guy too... so not wanting to eat is way out of the norm for him. Would love to hear how your SCAN went... jeanne
