Natural Alternatives to Chemo?

My father was diagnosed w/ a stage IV glioblastoma multiforme in June 2005. Since then, he's had 2 surgeries, and is about to have his 3rd. He seems to go 1-2 MRIs following each surgery before something else comes up. He was on Temodor, but it is showing to be ineffective. Following the surgery, he is either going to start a new type of chemo, or enroll in a clinical trial, b/c his options are running out. He is 55 years old.

One question I would like to ask the doctor, which I am sure he wouldn't give a straight answer on, is that if he was to get diagnosed w/ brain cancer, or any other cancer for that matter, would he subject himself to the same treatments he has or is prescribing to my dad. I've read a few claims from doctors that say that everyone has cancer cells present in their bodies at times throughout their life, and that if one's immune system is working properly, these cells are killed or reabsorbed by one's defense system before they begin to grow and threaten one's health. Once a person has developed cancer, even though some treatments get them into remission, it will recur again and again unless the body conditions that allowed it to develop in the first place are corrected. I don't see how chemo/radiation is supposed to independently correct the situation w/o any other modifications taking place.

In a nutshell, I think its pretty obvious that my dad's living environment, diet, and/or excercise played a role in his diagnosis, which have been proven in numerous studies. Thus, I find it is a bit odd that his doctor has not even suggested certain measures to take in diet, excercise, etc. that would at least strengthen his chances. Just because something isn't "FDA approved" and is not making a pharmaceutical company rich doesn't mean its ineffective. Ask the doc about omega-3 fatty acids which can be found in eggs and fish that may protect against colon cancer, or how the grape nourishes the brain through bypassing the blood brain barrier. You won't hear too much about things like that I am sure b/c an epidemic of good health would put a lot of doctors and pharmaceutical people out of business.

I am natually a skeptic and I just think there's more to it than poisoning one's body and killing off a lot of that which is good in the hopes of also destroying that which is bad, all while not changing a single thing in one's lifestyle. I dont know of any treatment which makes one nautious, tired and in an all around foul mood that can actually be good. Just on pure, simple logic, it doesn't make sense.

So, I've read a lot on the web about medicines based more on natural substances that are for obvious reasons, not FDA approved. I work in the pharmaceutical industry, and its primarily a business, where actually helping people is almost secondary and coincidental at best. My father is at the point where he really isn't sacrificing anything by giving something a try than may or may not be legitimate. For the past year almost, his bosy has been destroyed in the hopes of alleviating his cancer. The current regimen he is on hasn't cured anything, but only put off the inevitable a bit longer. Thus, I don't see how giving some natural "magic potion" from a tucked away store in Chinatown can hurt him any more than a treatment already doing nothing to help him, but more to contribute to his demise.

Any suggestions on rumored substances in foods that help brain tumors, or other stories on "medications" such as Cessiac or Yukolive would be appreciative.

I know what you're feeling and i agree with it whole heartedly. This body is a magnificient creation and if it can easily heal itself as we all see from the outside logically,it can certainly heal itself on the inside.

There seems to be as many claims for the alternatives as there are for the "chemicals." A change in lifestyle is demanded by both.

Who knows what road to take? NO-ONE even knows what started us on the trip down this road. It's a personal decision, AND A VERY BIG ONE!

Gleo Blastoma

Hi.
I help people cure their cancer naturally. I have recommended a specific protocol to many people, seven of whom took me up on it. All seven are completely cured. Three of the seven were concurrently using conventional medicine. Two of the seven were terminal. One of the 7 had Gleo Blastoma Muliforme. All 7 are cancer free. None of them have had a subsequent recurrence of the cancer. One of them is my ex husband. All of them are personally known to me. Some of them are available to talk to you personally.

The therapy is called high ph cesium therapy. I don't sell it, but ever since I saw how well it worked, I have been spreading the word. You can do it at home.

If you would like more information please contact the moderator and he can give you my e mail address.
Thanks,

Thank You

Thanks everyone for all your help. I have already come across so much new info from all your suggestions. I spoke to my mother last night, and I was shocked to hear that my suggestions to her about my father were actually taken with good faith.

I will be sure to get all of the information regarding this natural cure. I doubt that I will swing my father completely away from the tradional approach to his illness unless he is completely out of options; however, if any of these treatments can be used parallel to the ones that his doctor is suggesting, then that's a start.

Thanks again!

I'll Contact The Moderator

Hi.
Hi Debi,
I know you are terrified but the best way to make yourself feel better is to read all that you can about this.

Go to cancertutor.com and read about ways to cure stage IV cancers. It also has a section on brain cancers. The particular protocol I am familiar with is especially effective on brain cancers. As I said, I have seen it work 7 times out of 7. Two of the patients were terminal. Both of the terminal patients had brain cancer, and both are 100% cancer free with no recurrence.

I will have the moderator send you a private message giving you my e mail address. Until you get that message, start reading cancertutor.com.
And try not to panic. I know that's a hard thing to do. But everything I have read, and seen with my own eyes indicates to me, there is a VERY good chance everything is going to be just fine. (Very soon).

One of the people who cured his brain cancer this way,Elmer, now does some work with support groups. Once you and I get connected, I can refer you to him as well, so he can share his personal experience. He was given a less than 1% chance of survival and told to get his affairs in order. If anyone has told you anything like that, please do not believe it. It isn't true. It simply isn't true.

Hang in there.

Natural Treatments For Cancer

Hello and blessings to all,

I have read these various messages in regard to "Natural Treatments" and it seems based on a Alternative philosophy--choose one or the other. It's been my experience as an 11 year stage 3B Ovarian Cancer and a Holistic RN that it is all good. "Whatever seems to work" is many times the war cry and what is chosen, and that is fine.

I can honestly say that I think it would be totally irresponsible to try only "holistic" methods. Remember, these are drugs too and have various side affects, et al, otherwise they would be useless. I have used a combined approach, and I'm still here and intend on being around for quite some time!

To the lady that says she "healed" 7 people of various cancers. This seems odd, as the various cancers are like totally separate diseases and likewise have totally different regimens and approaches. One for everyone doesn't ring very true. Were these people actually diagnosed with cancer at a reputable facility? Someone once told me that she went to a Chiropractor who healed her of a cancer that he could "tell she had from muscle testing." Such cases are totally unsubstantial. And further, how long have they been cancer survivors? Is there any follow up testing to see if the cancer is recurring?

Someone mentioned Essiac tea, the Ojibway herbal mixture that Renee' Caisse (Essiac spelled backward), an RN swore by. I have found this to be totally worthless and the holistic MDs and Naturopaths that I know agree. Perhaps it is good for some of the side effects of chemo. or just a good combination of herbs to help, but will not totally erase the cancer. As a stand-alone treatment, I wouldn't do it.

The placebo effect is very strong, and this can account for Chemo or whatever we use to work also, as long as you fully believe in it. Taking your mind off your own problems, no matter how sick you may be, or how sick others have you talked into being, and thinking about something else is helpful too. Denial does work, partially.

Cancer is a very broard range of diseases that require a broad range of treatments, and some people need quite aggressive ones such as chemo, radiation, etc, according to the actual cell that you are dealing with. Personally, I used a combination of surgery, chemo, supplements, guided imagery and meditation, the latter two accounting for at least 50% of my success. I have found in my 11 years that supplements/diets are best for the side effects of chemo and cancer, but not the mainline of treatment.

Sorry if I sound preachy, but I've been down this road on both sides of the street and have come to KNOW that you need everything that you can get to beat it! Most importantly, get a competent, SPECIALIST in the field, not just any old "oncologist", i.e., as I have ovarian ca, I go to a highly recognized gyn oncologist at the CTCA. She is wonderful and is a Cancer survivor herself. I went to 4 oncologists before finally settling on her. You must either be a strong advocate for yourself or have someone to do this for you. Don't settle for less. This is your life!

Light, love and blessings,
B. Kathleen W.

This message is for Jill. I am interested in the therapy you call high ph cesium. I am not sure how to contact the moderator but would like more info. I am the main caregiver for my husband who has throat cancer that has metastasized to his lungs, liver and bones. He is currently taking chemo but the treatments are causing radiation recall. He suffers from 24/7 secretions which are made worse by the chemo. He is in so much pain once he has the treatment. Any info you can give me would be greatly appreciated.
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?cmd=Retrieve&db=PubMed&list_uids=6522427&dopt=Abstract

Hi Sedonalady.
I understand the cause of your concern. And as one who is frustrated by the volume of information out there, much of it not particularly helpful, let me assure you and the other readers that each of the people in question were under the care of a doctor or oncologist. Most of them discussed the therapy with their doctor. Three of them used a combined approach including conventional medicine and this alternative.

High pH cesium therapy is nothing like herbal tea. It is an extensively researched and documented, comprehensive protocol. I have included above, a link to PubMed, which is a publication of the National Health Institute.

Please understand that I am not saying that I cure cancer. I only provide access to existing authoritative information (which is available but not widely known), to individuals who express an interest. And if upon a thorough investigation they decide to proceed, I provide them with the information with regard to the places where this treatment is available.

Sedonalady. I would be VERY grateful to you, if you would contact me so that we can discuss this. I could provide you with the information. If you review it and believe it has merit, then you are in a better position to disseminate this information than am I.

As a small example of such information, here is an excerpt from the PubMed Abstract:
"The majority of the patients have been unresponsive to previous maximal modalities of cancer treatment and were considered terminal cases. The Cs-treatment consisted of CsCl in addition to some vitamins, minerals, chelating agents and salts of selenium, potassium and magnesium. In addition, a special diet was also instituted. There was an impressive 50% recovery of various cancers, i.e., cancer of unknown primary, breast, colon, prostate, pancrease, lung, liver, lymphoma, ewing sarcoma of the pelvis and adeno-cancer of the gallbladder, by the Cs-therapy employed."

Respectfully,
Jill

Alt/complementary Treatments Con't

Dear Jill,

Thanks for your sincere and quick reply, I can see this is something you feel very passionate about, as I do. I presently have to pace my activities, both mental and physical as I just received LOTS of meds and Chemo on Monday (5-8) and flew back from Chicago and this is the day I probably WOULD totally crash were it not for all the other things, including natural remedies, that I do.

I also have learned to live my life and not obsess so much on this cancer that I really don't claim as mine any longer. I am interested in what you have to say, and will get back to you definitely. When? I can't say. Didn't mean to denigrate your recommended therapy, but believe me, I have heard so much and I feel it my responsibility to communicate what I have learned through my journey to others in the same situation. I am strong and hard headed and that is also something good to be for one with my current challenge.

Talk with you again and many blessings to you and all at this site, or, you could send me your email address and we could communicate that way? It's up to you.

Very sincerely,

Thank you everyone- I am happy to see that others have taken interest in this. I by no means am tryin to insinuate that modern science and pharmaceutical companies are wasting their time- I just mean to suggest that maybe the problem is more simple than they are making it out ro be.

My father is 55 years old, 6 feet tall, and about 190 lbs. He's not over weight, but he used to eat/drink whatever he wanted to, he's lived on Long Island, NY for decade, which has proven to be a cancer zone, and he doesn't excercise. I just think that he needs to change several aspects of his lifestyle to make this happen, and relying on chemo to take care of everything is an ignorant thought.

I hope my father pulls through this, and I hope this makes hime much more conscious of what one has to do to prepare themselves the best they can to acoid this horrible disease, which basically put one's life on hold.

High ph Therapy Testimonials

Jill -

I will contact the moderator and see if we can communicate
directly.

I am an independent researcher trying to find 10 people who
have 1) been diagnosed with cancer 2) took cesium chloride 3)
their tumor changed. It does not matter if they were following
other treatments at the same time, so long as cesium chloride
is the common thread.

I now have 7. When I have 10 who are willing to be interviewed
about their experience with cesium chloride, I will, or someone
on my team will interview them. The results of this survey will
be used to interest an organization in doing a Phase I trial.

I understand that this alternative therapy is not a candidate for
patenting, thus traditional drug companies will not be
interested in the expense of trials. But, a consultant I am
working with tells me there are other organizations that might
be interested.

To this end, I would very much like to get in touch with you.

I came to this research effort not as a doctor or scientist but
because a friend eliminated his 30-pound inoperable stomach
tumor in six weeks following the cesium chloride protocol.
Unfortunately, he died shortly afterwards from the organ
damage suffered during the growth of the tumor. He was
cancer-free.

He gave me a copy of the protocol, with the understanding that
there might never be trials to demonstrate its effectiveness. I
am trying to gather evidence about it to further my friend's
efforts.

Any help would be appreciated.

High ph Therapy Testimonials

Hi Carol,

You have no idea how excited I am to get your message. I have already contacted the moderator to ask him to provide you with my e mail address also.

Once we get together, you will certainly have your 10 testimonials.

I have seen the following cancers cured: Two brain cancers, two lymphomas, a breast cancer and a six pound uterine tumor. All of these people would be willing to talk to you. One of the women who cured her lymphoma with the cesium, also recommended it to others, so we may be able to get their testimonials also. She actually had battled cancer for 10 years, had gone through chemo, radiation, a bone marrow transplant, and surgery. She finally beat it 3 years ago with the cesium and it has not returned.

None of these people have had a recurrence of their cancer, the first one was the brain cancer and that was nearly 4 years ago (still cancer free). Additionally there is a gentleman in my office with lung cancer who is currently doing this protocol. He's been on it already for two weeks, so we should be able to get his results in another two or three weeks.

I've been on this crusade for 4 years now. Ever since my friend cured his brain cancer this way, after being told he had virtually a zero chance of survival and his family was told to get his affairs in order. It has been very frustrating, as I'm sure you can attest. It will be nice to have someone to talk to who is similarly inclined.

My ex-husband, who cured his lymphoma this way, has also aroused the interest of his oncologist. So perhaps we can get his doctor to assist us somehow.

God bless you.

Hi Jill,
I was hopeing you can help me. My wife has metestatic breast cancer in her liver. She had breast cancer originally about nine years ago and had a double mestectomy. She was clean for five years and then it came back in her liver and her bones( in her spine). She has been on numourous chemo regimens and her last scans showed no involvement in her bones and some good shrinkage in the tumors in her liver. Overall I guess we are lucky as she has tolerated the chemo pretty well untill now. She is currently on xeloda, taxol, arimidex, halo testin, etc.
The side effects are mostly her fingernails are falling off and it is painful if she bangs them. otherwise she is handeling it pretty well. I was hopeing you might have some treatment that we can try ( perhaps the high ph cesium therapy)
Her oncologist is very open minded and I have given him many things I wanted to try on my wife and he was pretty much ok with them as long as he felt it woudn't hurt her. My wife is only 44yrs old and we have four small children. Any help you can give us would be greatly appreciated. can you please email me with any suggestions? thank You, --- Message edited by CancerCompass staff: for personal protection, email address removed. My doctor gave up on me when my lung cancer metastasize into brain cancer.
The homeopathic remedy above is what I have tried is medicine that works with good results. Using homeopathic remedy, the headaches, seizures and sleepiness associated with brain cancer has much improved.
The improvement with headache is one of the best - my headaches are removed by half whch is really great because I don't need codeine now, with improvment, Advil & similar painkillers are enough.
Also my lung cancer is still improving even now.
I heard of GBM patients inquiring and using this remedy.
Also other info seems to indicate Ruta is effective for throat, mouth & Rectal cancer.

The website of the homeopathic remedy is at

Hi Eileen,

I have contacted the moderator and they should be sending you my email address.

They are just concerned about protecting the privacy of everyone. I wish they had a private chat room though.

I want to play by the rules on this site, because they have been so wonderful and open minded for me. Very few websites will even let you post things about natural cures. (perhaps for fear of liability or something). So hang in there. They have been really good about responding promptly to requests for my email address. Not sure if they are around this weekend. But feel free to ask me any questions you want out here until we can chat privately.

I am working with a lung cancer patient right now who is on his third week. He feels much better and is eating better and gaining weight. One more week of therapy and then I think he goes in for another biopsy, I will share his results as soon as I get them.

Gliomatosis - Any Alternative Treatments?

My mother has just been diagnosed with gliomatosis. She had a seizure a few days ago without ANY previous warning signs at all...I have read something about this conditions and I am shocked how poor the prognosis is. We still don't know what treatment the doctors will recommend but I think mother would be willing to try altrenative treatments too. CALGAL, you mention some successful alternative treatments - could you contact me and give me some info about it? I am still in a state of shock, due with my second baby in 9 days and I really don't know what to do or what to wish for - a fast and quick end, or trying to prolong her life at all costs. I am thinking about the injustice of it all...my mother has been the best person that has ever lived and she certainly does not deserve this...she was succesfully treated for breast cancer 11 years ago...or so we thought...I cannot understand how all this happened - she has been leading a very healthy life with a very healthy diet and lots of excercise, has always been active, given up smoking some 30 years ago after only 5 years of smoking...has had regular check ups for cancers following her breastcancer treatment...how come the doctors never noticed anything?
I do not know how to contact the moderator to receive private messages but I would be grateful if you could conact me about alternative treatment. I am in Europe so I have no idea what kind of alternative treatment is available here but I would welcome any information at all. Thak?k you.

Beware of Frauds and Charlatans!!!

Unfortunately there exists a number of unethical people who prey upon the fears of cancer patients for their personal profit. If someone is claiming to have found a cure 'doctors won't tell you about', they are frauds. As an example, one poster on this board sites a PUBMED abstract from 1984 as proof that high-Ph cesium therapy works, and even copied a portion of it here. However, she didn't copy all of it, conveniently omitting: "There was a 26% and 24% death within the initial 2 weeks and 12 months of treatment, respectively." This means that 1/4 of patients on this therapy died within 2 weeks, and 24% of the remaining 74% died within 12 months. This yields a 1-year survival rate of 56%, very unimpressive even for patients regarded as terminal (including the lucky 74% who live past two weeks). No median survival was provided. In addition, this article was published in 1984 - over 20 years ago. Where is the research to support this therapy since then? Where are the peer-reviewed scientific results substantiating these claims? This unimpressive abstract and anecdotal claims of 'miracle cures' is at best a way to separate cancer patients from their money, at worst it could be lethal.

Still...

One can't help to think, where would the pharmaceutical companies be if cures or aids for cancer were less intricate and expensive than the traditional chemo and radiation? It seems logical that certain dietary/health measures could be taken to improve one's chances, especially if their diet/health was poor to begin with. Though, I am not a doctor.

The approximate statistics for a GBM are as follows:

One-year survival rate: 29.3%
Two-year survival rate: 8.7%
Five-year survival rate: 3.3%
Ten-year survival rate: 2.3%

These are from a few years ago, so odds have improved, but not much. Thus, a 1-year survival rate of 56% is significantly better than 29.3%, and in 1984 for that matter. I did not read this paper thoroughly, but one would tend to imagine that by the time someone abandons the traditional therapies, they've probably been told that there is nothing else that doctors can do. Thus, their last resort is either waiting to die, or giving this "wonder drug" a try. Its not a surprise that people died just weeks after enrolling in this study, but I could be wrong.

I realize that there are a lot of tricks out there for natural cures, whether it be for balding men, weight loss, or even cancer. However, a lot of tricks are also FDA approved. Institutions are not going to take the time and spend the money to see if some natural compound helps fight cancer, and I do not know many cancer patients that would be too fond of enrolling in such a study (including my father who has a stage IV GBM). Why would one roll the dice? So, its no surprise to me that JAMA, JSTOR or Pub Med isn't flooded w/ study after study where natural substances is the focus.

I also believe that all the cures to most of our problems could be right here in front of our face in natural form, since the problem may have been due to an overbearing natural force, or lack of for that matter. Its not luck as to why some people live long, healthy lives and others don't.

Let The Buyer Beware...

Eating a healthy, balanced diet composed of plenty of fresh fruits, vegetables, and lean protein has been shown to reduce incidence of heart disease and certain types of cancers. I also agree that a healthy diet is important to a cancer patient as they undergo treatment. However, there is no scientific evidence substantiating any claims that any diet is capable of 'curing' cancer. Nor is there any scientific data substantiating claims that diet and supplementation alone can cure cancer.
Secondly, the statistics cited in the PubMed article which I copied in my previous post did not pertain to GBM, they encompassed a variety of cancers, so it is impossible to say that a one-year survival percentage of 56% with alternative therapies (in a trial population of 50) compares favorably to a 29.3% one-year survival percentage (in a population greater than 15,000 over an 18-year period - taken from the CBTRUS statistics). Since the statistics you cite are for the timeframe 1973-2001, they do not take into account recent clinical advances in the treatment of malignant brain tumors such as stereotactic surgery and radiosurgery, targeted therapies, conformal and IMRT radiation therapy, and newer chemotherapeutic agents. Also, it is simply wrong to state that pharmaceutical companies are not going to take the time and spend the money to investigate whether 'natural' substances fight cancer. They have already spent billions researching just that! Taxol is derived from the Pacific Yew tree, CPT-11 from the Chinese happy tree, there are hundreds of examples! The pharmaceutical companies and research institutions isolate and investigate many thousands of naturally ocurring compounds each year. The company that can isolate a simple natural compound as a cure for cancer stands to make many billions of dollars. I oppose those who falsely claim simple natural substances as a cure for cancer and swindle desperate patients and their families out of money by selling their 'snake oil'. If you saw the 1999 movie 'Man on the Moon' about the life of Andy Kaufmann, you will undoubtedly rememeber he traveled to a clinic outside the U.S. for a 'miracle cure' for his cancer, only to be bathed in chicken innards. Cancer patients and their families deserve better.

Frauds

I don't have much time here but just wanted to quickly state that I am neither a fraud nor a charlatan. In fact, I don't sell anything.

I published the link to PubMed so people could look it up themselves and also included that Sartori had a 50% cure rate (meaning 50% were not cured). Yes most of the deaths that occurred during the study happened within the first month or so, because these people were within weeks or days of death. One had a 55lb tumor, many had cancer throughout their bodies, some were already comatose. So it is not shocking that so many deaths occurred so soon. What is amazing is that he cured 50% of the people, whom conventional medicine had given a 0% chance of survival.

I will post the link to the entire study as soon as I get home. (I'm at work).

I know that gravity exists because I can drop a quarter and it lands on the ground. I can see it with my own eyes. I know that this works, because I have seen it with my own eyes. Over and over. And two of the people that cured themselves, were told there was no hope. Both of them had brain cancer. My own ex husband cured his cancer this way in 24 days with no conventional medicine whatsoever. I have seen it with my own eyes too many times. All of the people I have recommended this to were working with their doctor. Most of them told their doctor exactly what they were doing, and some of them combined this therapy with conventional protocols. My ex-husband's oncologist asked me to send him the information, and my ex-husband's primary care doctor, asked him to meet with her mother as her mother had cancer.

I think that when you have grown up "knowing" that their is no cure, it is hard to accept that perhaps one may have finally been found. Unless of course, you see it on Oprah. That is just the way of things in this country. All I am doing is providing people with information they will not see on Oprah, and letting them talk to people who have done this, and letting them discuss it with their doctor, and then make their own informed choice. I sell nothing.

So I will continue to put all my energy into finding some organization out there who is willing to study it, despite the fact that it is non patentable. Hence, whoever finally proves that it works....will not make millions and millions, since it is not expensive and is natural. Whoever proves that it works, to the satisfaction of the government (who ultimately makes the decision on all things it seems these days), will cause the entire cancer industry to be no longer necessary.

I'm sure we are all praying for that day.

Much more info to follow....

You Might Not be a Fraud or Charlatan, But...

You are also not a statistician, scientist, or patent attorney. The abstract you cite as 'proof' does not claim a 50% cure rate, but rather a 50% 'recovery' rate. Exactly what a 'recovery' rate is is undefined in the abstract. If the one-year survival rate is only 56%, that would mean virtually every patient surviving one year is 'cured'. What is the 2,5, and 10 year follow-up? If your two friends have been cured of their brain cancer, where are the before and after MRI's proving it? What type of brain cancer did they have? (There are over 100 types) What other medical treatments did they undergo? All you offer is your anecdotal statements to support your argument - not one single shred of proof. If indeed these miracles have occurred, why did the oncologists for these miraculous patients not publish their stories? After all, the oncologist who identifies a simple cure for cancer would win the Nobel prize. Also, even though something is natural and inexpensive does not mean it can't be further investigated to isolate and synthesize its active ingredients, then made into a patentable pharmaceutical or administered in a patented process. Your statements that you have found the cure for cancer and nobody is listening (not even Oprah) just don't hold water. With the ballooning federal budget deficit and Medicare deep in red ink (as well as most state Medicaid programs), there are dozens of organizations that would be interested in a cheap cancer cure (not to mention tens of millions of baby boomers). I'll make you a deal, you provide me with verifiable scientific evidence (this means before and after scans, test results, pathology results, surgical notes, doctor's notes, etc., not 'my ex had cancer and now he is cured' statements), and I will connect you with researchers at two major university research laboratories (Vanderbilt and Duke) so that your cure can be verified.

If you can do what you say you can do, my heart just skipped a beat.

Considering that I have the verifiable evidence you are looking for...It looks like you have got yourself a deal!!!

I will contact the administrator and ask him to give you my email address. Skeptical though you are, you just may be the answer to my prayers. But I want to caution you. This works quite well in its natural form, which is non-patentable. Hence, exclusive rights to the market are not possible. (ie: Anybody can sell it - no barriers to entry). Knowing what I do about the biochemical science behind it, (for which two Nobel prizes have been awarded), it will likely not work as a laboratory-produced, synthetic chemical version. No patent rights will be available, and it would be my wish that none are granted. It is my aim to eradicate cancer from the earth. Not to make money.

I hope to be chatting with you soon. And I very much hope, your passion to support something you will ultimately believe in, proves to be equivalent to your passion to oppose something you doubt. You may turn out to be just the person I have been searching for.

Respectfully,

Alt/complementary Treatments Con't

Hello again,

I have also studied at length chelation therapy. It is very dangerous, moreso than chemotherapy, if done IV. You have also mentioned some type of pH changing? I do not believe in the "Alkalating diet", which supposedly changes the pH "of the body" I have news for you, the body does not have a "general" pH, only specific areas such as the blood, which is a very narrow range and the urine, which goes up and down according the amount of water you drink. These are scientific facts. I have not found one bona fide study on this diet, yet thousands of alternative health practitioners recommend it.

I'm sorry to tell you, but your therapy is sounding more bogus, the more you talk about it. It is my duty as an RN to tell others at this site that you should not be plying this "therapy" to people who are "hopeless."

Indeed, I totally agree with you that any DR. that says someone is hopeless should not be taken seriously, in fact one should run, not walk away from him. I have seen many cancer cases mismanaged. But that does not mean that every Dr. and every standard treatment is bad or wrong. At the Cancer Treatment Center, they do use alternative treatments, and they have helped people in stage 4 cancer. I sat next to a man once who had stage 4 pancreatic cancer and was given one week to live by his oncologist at home. He went to CTCA and after one year was just given his "remission" diagnosis right as we spoke. In contrast to the cesium pH therapy, all these therapies, some of which are naturopathic, acupuncture, dietary, etc, whatever they are they are RESEARCHED thoroughly, with groups larger than 7 or 50 people. Sorry, but 7 people cured of brain cancer does not constitute a study. If this cure rate were indeed true, why hasn't someone come out with it publically?

I say again to the people that are in stage 4 of anything, please go to the CTCA. They are wonderful and all they deal with is cancer. They REALLY know what they are doing and handle all types of cancer and all stages. Get there as soon as you can. If you wait too long, fiddling with these "alternative therapies" you may indeed be a hopeless case.

BTW this site is funded by the Cancer Treatment Center of America and when I tell them what is going on right here, I'm sure they will put an end to it.

This is what the study this lady is referring to says:

""" Pharmacol Biochem Behav. 1984;21 Suppl 1:11-3. Links (NOTE HERE, DATE of 1984)

    Cesium therapy in cancer patients.

The effect of cesium therapy on various cancers is reported. A total of 50 patients were treated over a 3 year period with CsCl. The majority of the patients have been unresponsive to previous maximal modalities of cancer treatment and were considered terminal cases. The Cs-treatment consisted of CsCl in addition to some vitamins, minerals, chelating agents and salts of selenium, potassium and magnesium. In addition, a special diet was also instituted. There was an impressive 50% (This could be attributed to the placebo effect) recovery of various cancers, i.e., cancer of unknown primary, breast, colon, prostate, pancrease, lung, liver, lymphoma, ewing sarcoma of the pelvis and adeno-cancer of the gallbladder, by the Cs-therapy employed. There was a 26% and 24% death within the initial 2 weeks and 12 months of treatment, respectively. A consistent finding in these patients was the disappearance of pain within the initial 3 days of Cs-treatment. The small number of autopsies made showed the absence of cancer cells in most cases and the clinical impression indicates a remarkably successful outcome of treatment.

PMID: 6522427 [PubMed - indexed for MEDLINE]""""""

Please Note: It was done in 1984, over 20 years ago, if it was such a wonderful success, why hasn't anyone done further research and pushed for this? 50 patients are not that many and 25 of them died, that is NOT a very promising success rate. If you were to read the stats on some of the chemotherapys they would be a much larger group and probably have a higher success rate.
