Spinal Tumor Surgery

I have breast cancer that has metasticized to the bones, and had radiation three years ago for it. Now a CAT scan shows a possible growth of a tumor in the vertabrae which has been radiated so they can't treat it again. However, i have few symptoms, no pain, and just a little tingling. I have read a bit about the surgical treatment of spinal tumors and would like to hear from anyone who has had that procedure. We're still not sure, I have a PET scan set for a week from now.
