      <title>Poochie is Gone...</title>
<description>It is with profound sadness that we inform you all of the sudden and premature passing of our beloved Poochie on Friday, June 23rd.

Since his diagnosis of bladder cancer a year ago, we thought it would be the death of him, but it was not meant to be. Instead, his quarterly ultrasounds showed his tumour had shrunken in half, thanks to his daily regiment of Metacam, vitamin supplements and homemade organic food. His oncologist believed he would live for another few years.

Last Friday, Poochie started having seizures at 4 am and we rushed him to an emergency vet hospital. He passed away at 1:30 pm and the neurologist believe it was due to a stroke. He was 15-years-young. Needless to say, we are devastated. He will remain forever in our hearts.

We would be remiss if we didn't thank all of you for your support and kind thoughts. This message board has been a wealth of information for us and brought us much needed comfort. You are all to be commended for your endless devotion to your four-legged children. We wish you well in your ongoing fight against this nefarious disease and pray that your dogs will be with you for many years to come. Shele, Joanne...thank you.

      <title>Sorry to Hear This Development</title>
      <description>Dear Pip and Theresa,
We are so sorry to learn of your loss.
Please find some comfort in the knowlege that where he is at there is no pain an endless supply of biscuits and toys and that he misses you as much as you miss him.
