By the time the doctor listened to me the tumor had gone thru the uterine wall and settled on the sigmoid colon. I had a complete hysterectomy in Sept 01. Chemo until Feb 02. Today it was decided I need to undergo radiation therapy. I don't know what to expect or where to turn to ask. I will have a 120 mile round trip 5 days a week for 5 weeks. Will I be able to do this? What are the possible side effects? I would like to hear from people who have "been there, done that", not "well, maybes" from well meaning doctors! Thanks! KJ Kimberlee H.
