Anyone else out there with Cilary body and Iris Melanoma?

I am trying to find out if there is anyone else out there who has Cilary Body and or Iris Melanoma. If they have had surgery? If so, did they remove the eye or just the tumor in an effort to save the eye with or with out vision? What is your prognosis, how are you doing? Have you tried any diet or herbs that might help the eye heal? This is a pretty rare occurance as I understand it, 6 in One Million.

It seems that someone signed me up for the Eye Cancer lottery and I won. And since there seems not to be anyone I have found yet who has gone through or is going through this I am looking to share. Cancer is not something most people are comfortable talking about and I understand that. Though with this web site, I hope to be able to share my experience and listen to others.

My doctor, while I understand him to be an expert in this he is not one of many words. To get answers from him is like pulling teeth, but I am the kind of person who needs answers. I want to help in my treatment and if diet can help then I am ready to get started.

Thanks,
Wendy
