How to Tell my Son

hello
iam new to this bourd...
my first husband, has stage 4 liver cancer,
our son is 41, but no one is ready for all that
happens when you have a medical problem such
as cancer...
all has been tried and nothing has helped
my former husband, he has had cemo for a few months now, and it didnt change a thing,
his tumors are very large, in the upper lobe, its the size of a grapfruit, the lower lobe is the size of a lemon...
he is getting weaker, and losing weight,
he now has a cold or flu, skin is starting to
itch alot, and the face seems swollen,
his white blood count is very low...
my quistion is this?
what signs should we be watching for now???
he was told he had stage 4 march 15 of this year.
thanks so much!
