Continue Chimo or Not

Reena,
My name is Tabitha and my son has been battling ALL.He went to remission second month of his treatment there were no Blasts in his system but the Dr. told me even though the blasts are not showing in his Blood it doesn'r mean he is totally healed. He went throught the chimo treament for 2 and half years...He was out of treament for almost 2 years then he relapsed.I was at first so devastated and i didn't know what to do.He is going through a very aggressive chimo treatment again, the blasts didn't show in his blood nor his bone marrow two weeks after starting the chimo and his still going through the chimo for the next two years. The longer the treament the higher are the chances of survival.
Keep your child there for as long as the Dr.thinks is the appropriate length of treament.God Bless.
