He has been on gemcitabine since last Aug, now told it is not working, he has increased lesions on his liver and a new lesion on his spine. They want to start him on capecitabine oral chemo. I would ask about using Gemzar combinations. Gemzar with Tarceva, Avastin, Erbitux, and oxaliplatin have been or are being used in trials.
