I had a full hysterectomy and chemo 2 years ago. Does anyone know about these symtoms? thank you. Criss Fri, 25 Aug 2006 00:00:00 GMT My mother had right sided pain and the Dr thought that it was nothing because her CA-125 was low. She insisted on a CT. That showed a 1.7cm mass. PET confirmed metabolic activity. They didn't biopsy for three months, which I think is rather reprehensible but that is another story, but now it is 3.8cm. Do not ignore pain! My CA 125 was in the normal range when my cancer came back so tell the doctor not to rely on that. I hope it is an oncologist because they should know to check immediately if there is pain. If the doctor won't do anything, find another oncologist. Be demanding! I saved my life by DEMANDING tests to be done and then found a wonderful oncologist who doesn't wait-she does tests right away!
