Leiomyosarcoma

During what we thought was a routine hysterectomy, my 55 year old sister was diagnosed with Leiomyosarcoma after the biopsies of the 3 tumors that were removed. She lives in the Atlanta area and is very dear to all who meet her. We are just beginning the journey and would appreciate any advice/feedback. The CT was clear for the most part and further tests should give us more information. I understand that this is a rare, resistant cancer and would like to hear from others who are dealing or have dealt with Leiomyosarcoma.
Thank you!
