Symptoms

I am a 8 year survivor. I did do the radiation and radioactive implants.

I knew that something was wrong, my periods where longer and a very heavy flow. I had a lot of very heavy clear sticky discharge. I tried for 2 years to convince several different doctors that something was wrong, but my pap smears came back normal each year. Finally 3 years after it started the ovary became enlarged and as a result I convinced my doctor to do the biopsy. I was in for surgery within two weeks for a full hysterectomy and started radiation treatments a month after surgery. I did have a small amount of lymph node involvement after the 3 year wait for the diagnosis.

Catching it quickly is wonderful and very curable.

I am only 30 years old and am concerned, but scared of what might be happening. A cat scan of a year ago showed I may have a cyst on one of my ovaries, but the docotrs chose to do nothing about it. I was wondering if you could let me know of any other symptoms you had. thank you.
