Now her kidneys are recovering (thank GOD!) but her blast counts are rising. She went from a 15% to a 17% in two days. Does anyone out there have experience with this? Can anyone tell me what to expect? The doctors will not treat her at this point because her organs are too frail. She just turned 18. Thanks! I don't know where you live but there are great hospitals st. jude rwj north brunswick n.j. etc. My son is in remission from aml leukemia. we just finished his 5 rounds of treatment but still in the hospital fighting infections.
