Alternatives or Vitamins

I was wondering the same thing. Also, would any of Mannatech's products help. OR, add fuel to the fire? If MM is a plasma cell gone outta control, would supplements that are supposed to increase cell communication help or hurt???

please add me to your list on any information you may receive on this subject. My partner has been diagnosed with mm and is 46 years of age.Apart from a high igg and increased bone marrow he has remained stable and in good health for the past two years. however he feels like a ticking time bomb as no one can tell him if or indeed when things will change for him. Many thanks, Gillian.

Many thanks, Gillian. I am in the same situation as your partner. I completely understand the ticking time bomb feeling. On the other hand it does give a special appreciation of everyday we feel good. I can't tell how much I took health granted and I am a nurse!! I should have known better. Keep vigilant and yet we can't let it run our lives or the cancer wins before the battle begins. I take supplements to help my body fight. Some of those include ginger caps and tumeric. My doctor at Mayo in Rochester feels that inflammation much like Rhuematoid fuels the fire for Myleoma. They have done extensive research and clinical trials for patients with Smoldering Myleoma. That is what the stage I is called. I also take glyconutrients to help my cells communicate and correct damaged cells on its own. I also believe that supplements help to prevents some of the side effects of medication given to fight this disease. I hope this helps.Cindy
