Mixed Mullarian

My mom was diagnosed about 3 months ago with stage 3 mixed mullarian cancer. She had her hysterectomy in early August and has still not gotten any radiation or chemo. She was looking into alternative treatments and just 8 weeks after her hysterectomy, she got a CAT scan that showed a tumor the size of a grapefruit. She was then hospitalized for almost 2 weeks because her kidneys were not functioning. Has anyone had any success with any treatments other than chemo and radiation? For those that have done chemo and/or radiation, what kind of success have you had? My mom's doctors have lead us to believe that the radiation won't actually get rid of the cancer because it doesn't attack the sarcoma cells. Has anyone else heard this? Any help is appreciated. We just want my mom to get better! Thanks!
