The Daughter (Maureen) Jeanc Fri, 10 Nov 2006 00:00:00 GMT I've had avastin for 3 cycles now, and find the side effects to be next to nothing- I have no heart or stroke or high blood pressure problems, tho- I think avastins main side effects are those-. The one side effect I think I have is poor healing- my first port incision opened after a month and I had to have it removed. The tissue had died and the surgeon had no explanation for it- there was no infection. So, since one side effect of avastin is slow healing, I've decided thats what happened.
