i Need to Know?

I have been sick for two years with a sore throat and other symptoms. About 6 months ago a spot came on my left tonsil. The doctors have been giving me antibotics for two years and the passed 6 months even stronger ones. The doctor had first said the spot was a puss pocket, now six months later and 3 docters opionons:I've been told it is a tumor. With the pain I have been having also in my throat and neck, that it may also be in my thyroid; due to another spot. Is this normal, a tumor of what? and unless it is cancer how can it be in my thyroid now. I know it is early to say anything but I'm worried from where they have been treating me for two years for sore throats and it's not even been that. Can anyone relate.

My husband,
for a year kept saying to primary care docs that he was exhausted all the time( naturally they told him he was depressed, and of course threw a prescription at him) and oh, those little pea sides nodules that they could feel in his neck was just a swollen lymphnode, he probably was fighting off a virus of some sort.
Guess What after enough pushing and one year later he was diagnosed with stage 3B Nodular Sclerosing Hodgkins Lymphoma and Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma.
MY STRONG ADVISE TO YOU IS BE YOUR OWN ADVOCATE DEMAND TESTING AND IF THEY WILL NOT LISTEN TO YOU FIND A DOCTOR WHO WILL.

Good Luck, and God Speed
