Liver

3 years ago I had colon cancer stage 3. Spread to one node
out of 9. I had surgery and 36 chemo drips. My last 2 CEA have been slightly elevated (5 and then 12) so my Oncologist ordered a pet scan. This pet scan came back that I had 'intence abnomaty activity' in the liver right lobe and in liver region-upper abdoman. The Dr. then sent me for a 'cat' scan becasue he was shocked at these results since my 'cat scans 3 months ago' were normal. I went for the cat scan and the tech told me all she saw was a couple little empty holes (dead cells?) on my liver...no more. HELP!

Thank you so very much for your responce. How is your dad now? Did he have this done by ivasive surgury? Lapopercy (sp?).
My Uncle lived in Pitt Pa and went to the same hospital as your dad and they saved his life for 12 years when he was only given 18 months for multi myloma.

Liver

I have since had another cat scan that also showed something either on the end of my liver or the surrounding tissue (nodes) above my pancres. I am now going to see a Dr. at Henry Ford Hopsital in Michigan (next Thursday) for a biospy. Since I have had colon cancer I am afraid it has spread here...
