My mother was just prescribed Tarceva. She is 89 years old and on a limited income. After the insurance pays 1/3 the cost of Tarceva, she will have to pay $2,400.00 out of pocket for a 30 day supply. My mom had no insurance when she was diagnosed with nsclc.  When the Dr. recommended Tarceva, she got help through the company that makes the drug and she receives it through the mail every month - at no charge. It is not uncommon for them to do that - check it out. Good Luck and God Bless.
