Do pet scans show if the cancer has spread to the bones especially the spine or only the cancer in the lymph nodes.

      <description>As far as I know Pet scan show cancer in any part of the body.  Organs, nodes, brain, liver, etc....If its there -- it will light up on the scan.  Nancy</description>

      <description>my ct scan showed some bone matastize, vertibre and rt hip.&amp;nbsp; doc is ordering a pet scan. she says that this should be able to tell if ii is the cancer.&amp;nbsp; If not next step will be a bone scan. hope this helpsgretch</description>
