CancerCompass message board discussion started by Skowe on 12/15/2006 http://www.cancercompass.com/message-board/message/all,8308,0.htm Tue, 02 Dec 2008 00:00:00 GMT Tue, 02 Dec 2008 00:00:00 GMT http://backend.userland.com/rss RSS.NET: http://www.rssdotnet.com/ i have traditional cell carcenoma and some carcenomia in situ in the bladder . ti stade 3. i have had 3 tur's1 mitomycin wash after the last tur in july . i had 1 6 wk of bcg. then 1 6 week of bcg and interfuron. this time the scope showed no papillary tumors like before in march. i am waiting for results of fish test of urine ( urovision). i am reluctant to go back for biopsy if fish test is neg. as i have heard that bcg still keeps working for up to 6 months. i know biopsy is the final call, but i read of someone that even showed pos. after bcg by scoping, waited 3 m0re months and then showed neg with no additional treatments. any one else had this with the same diagnosis ? I had a real bad reaction from the 4th treatment we stoped. I then had TURB 27th nov clear no tumers and high grade insitu gone a miricle from God.  I will have my first P&P in March. Did you have any reaction to the treatments By the way no reaction at all to BCG alone. I will let you know how first exam goes. Skypiloti had violent shaking 2 hrs after bcg/interf for one hour about 2 hours after eash instillation. had to wait one extra week twice between 5th and 6th treatment. bcg alone was ok but when i urinated it put me up on my heels for about 6 days after each treatment. is the p&p you are going for the bcg skin prick test they do in the inner thigh? were you ta or t1 in staging? keep me informed skowe  Skowe Mon, 19 Mar 2007 00:00:00 GMT   No the P&P is poke and peak sisto into bladder.
