CancerCompass message board discussion started by Debdoug on 12/17/2006 http://www.cancercompass.com/message-board/message/all,8334,0.htm Tue, 07 Oct 2008 00:00:00 GMT Tue, 07 Oct 2008 00:00:00 GMT http://backend.userland.com/rss RSS.NET: http://www.rssdotnet.com/ I just lost my Dad to bile duct cancer this week  - 6 weeks after diagnosis  - it was a huge shock and frighteningly fast.I have read somewhere there is a high risk of getting this most horrible of cancers if the patient has suffered from ulcerative colitis (which my Dad had dealt with since a young man  - he was 71 when he passed away) Does anyone else know of any link or has lost a loved one the same way?Thanks  -  I have followed this message board during the short time my Dad was ill and have found it very helpful.
