      <title>Help!</title>
      <description>My mother was diagnosed with colon cancer Decemeber 5th.&amp;nbsp; She had the tumor removed on the 6th and is already back home resting.&amp;nbsp; It looks promising that she wont have go to through anymore treatment.&amp;nbsp; The problem I am having is in reguards to my father.&amp;nbsp; Several people have told me that men just dont know how to deal with an event like this, but hes not giving her the emotional support she needs.&amp;nbsp; I am trying to make up for it but its starting to affect my mother.&amp;nbsp; He has an issue with the medication shes on for pain.&amp;nbsp; He doenst listen to her because he said shes &amp;quot;doped up&amp;quot;.&amp;nbsp; He also just told her he doesnt know what shes talking about because the medication has fried her brain.&amp;nbsp; My parents have been married for 30+ years, and this behavior is very unexpected.&amp;nbsp; Obviously we need to sit down with someone to talk about whats going on- but does anyone have a similar experience or advice?&amp;nbsp;</description>

      <description>everyone has different ways of dealing,&amp;nbsp; your dad may be feeling scared, hurt,&amp;nbsp; unsure of the future,&amp;nbsp;etc.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Have a clergy, or one of his close friends talk to him,&amp;nbsp; it might help to know his friends are there to listen to any fears he may be experiencing,&amp;nbsp; Best wishes and God Blessmari</description>
