DVT - Gallbladder cancer

My mom was diagnosed August 8, 2005 with gall bladder cancer. Just four months later she was diagnosed with cancer of the thyroid cancer and had the thryoid removed. Three weeks ago I had to admit her in the local hospital for blood clots in her leg. She spent 7 days in the hospital on IV's, blood thinners and was sent home to die. I've been with her, in her own home for two weeks now and her leg has swollen to twice the size that it was 48 hours ago. She's vomitting, has unbelievable gastric regurg. I just don't know what to expect and if I should contact the doctor about the increase in swelling. She's on Levonox every 12 hours for blood thinning. What do I expect now? I'm at a loss. I know that the oncologist said that she didn't expect my Mom to make it to see Christmas but until the swelling she seemed like there was no change in her condition and now I'm concerned. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.ThanksKathy
