CancerCompass message board discussion started by Pammyt on 12/23/2006 http://www.cancercompass.com/message-board/message/all,8423,0.htm Tue, 02 Dec 2008 00:00:00 GMT Tue, 02 Dec 2008 00:00:00 GMT http://backend.userland.com/rss RSS.NET: http://www.rssdotnet.com/ I am asking about stage 3 (or maybe more by now) stomach cancer that has spread to the bowel.  Chemo didn' t have much effect.  An experimental treatment at a specialized cancer hospital didn't do anything, so operating is next.  What would likely be the life expectancy/ development of this after surgery?  It would be pointless to do chemo I would think if it didn't work the first time?
