I actually took a break from the hospital room and my husband too is dizzy, skinny and weak. I have been married to him for 13 years and he is 38 years old. We have been dealing with AML since August of 2003 but the signs and symptoms were brought on in March of that year. We are at a pivotal point now of watching the blast counts and hoping they are responding to the last round of chemotherapy. The doctor is not so hopeful and forget about employment? My husband is priority and the rest I am sure the Creator will take care of us (your family and mine). I want someone to sit down with me and talk of the signs of death but I think we are seeing the signs of life and the fight our husbands are dealing with. I am proud of him but I don't want him to suffer- let alone leave. My husband is reaching out for alternative options for supplemental help (Essiac Tea, Ginseng, etc) and this is frightening. We have three children 2 boys and 1 girl- 12, 9, and 1 year of age. I hope just responding and you knowing you are not alone will help you through this process. I wish I could give you a hug and tell you all will be better but it is a hard road. My prayers will go with you and your husband.
