I'm now almost recovered from my recent surgery, and am looking ahead to my interferon treatments, which will start next month.  I am a 25 year old female, married about a year and a half ago. My husband and I had planned on trying to start a family this year prior to my diagnosis; however my doctors are advising me not to get pregnant while I'm doing the treatments (1 year) or the year after.  Saddened as I was to hear that we must delay starting a family, it is definitely necessary.  My question for those of you who have battled or are battling melanoma is, did you find difficulty after the treatments in getting pregnant?  Thank you in advance for your comments.
