thyrogobulin test results after ria and whole body scan

Could anyone tell me what the thyrogobulin test results should be after RIA and Whole body scan. Mine came back 10.50. And of course the results had no explanation whatsoever on what that means. The scan came out clear and negative. So I assume the Tg test was OK? Any answers to this question?

I found this website that does a little explaining. I don't know anything about the website....my endo said the single number wasn't as important as the trend. I had Hashi's and papillary carcinoma so I had lots of antibodies. He was happy that my number was down to 39 from what it was. Perhaps when you talk to your doctor he/she will explain what it means.

Thankyou for your reply. But you know how it is with Drs. They tell you much to nothing, and like it that way! My Doc is on vacation right now. I was just curious to know what the 10.5 means on the thyrogobulin. No one said what it was before. In fact they don't tell you much of anything. I guess they think the less you know, the less questions you will ask. I guess their time is more valuable than a patients inquisitiveness about their diagnosis. It's only our lives, but it is precious time to them. God, do I sound cynical? Yes, guess I am! That is where the name crabby nancy comes from..haha. Thanks again. I guess I will live...
