I had my TT on 1/16

Hi All,I just wanted to post a quick update. I had my TT on 1/16 so I am now one week past the surgery and doing fine. I am very tired after a few hours of being awake and take a serious 2 hour nap each afternoon but this was expected. This happens from the drop in hormome levels between 5 to 7 days after the surgery and can catch some people off guard but I had been forewarned. Pathology details, I had a papillary carcinoma in my left lobe and also in 2 of 5 lymph nodes that were removed. And the right lobe had a multinodular goiter (not huge but worth removing just to be done with it). The next step is to see my endo and get ready for RAI in about 4 weeks. More later....Melody
