CancerCompass message board discussion started by Prayingforafriend on 1/22/2007 http://www.cancercompass.com/message-board/message/all,9021,0.htm Fri, 10 Oct 2008 00:00:00 GMT Fri, 10 Oct 2008 00:00:00 GMT http://backend.userland.com/rss RSS.NET: http://www.rssdotnet.com/ My 25 yr old friend finished chemo therapy in 9/06 for a stage 1 Astrocytoma.  She had a PET scan in 10/06 and was given great news the tumor was gone.  She had a follow-up scan this month & found out the tumor is back.  It's about the size of a dime right now.  The doctor is concerned the rate in which the tumor has grown since October.  She's very scared and doesn't know whether to have surgery or do chemo again.  Does anyone have any advice? Thanks, Pray for a Friend  Prayingforafriend Mon, 22 Jan 2007 00:00:00 GMT
