CancerCompass message board discussion started by Vinnie on 1/27/2007 http://www.cancercompass.com/message-board/message/all,9148,0.htm Wed, 03 Dec 2008 00:00:00 GMT Wed, 03 Dec 2008 00:00:00 GMT http://backend.userland.com/rss RSS.NET: http://www.rssdotnet.com/ Vinnie here-was diagnosed with Hodgkins in Dec-05,had NS,stage 3B in the abdomen area,during this time had a hard time swallowing food,both solid and liquid,food would stuck in the mouth with a burning sensation.Went for 6mos of chemo,doctor said we'll deal with that problem after your treatment,during the treatment the swallowing spasms calmed down.They told me my problem was from chemo side effects,and not from Hodgkins,ok we'll wait and see.Finished my last dose in Aug-06,waited 5 weeks,swallowing got worse,had severe hiccups after i ate,would cough up saliva after each swallow,had a squeezing pain between my shoulders when i lay down,this has to be heartburn.Oct-went for a manometry test,was diagnosed with Achalasia-diffuse cardio-spasms,would like to know if anyone had similiar symptoms-Vinnie Vinnie Sat, 27 Jan 2007 00:00:00 GMT
