CancerCompass message board discussion started by Mrs. c on 2/10/2007 http://www.cancercompass.com/message-board/message/all,9516,0.htm Wed, 08 Oct 2008 00:00:00 GMT Wed, 08 Oct 2008 00:00:00 GMT http://backend.userland.com/rss RSS.NET: http://www.rssdotnet.com/ My son - stage 3 - one node positive - will be having LND as soon as Johns Hopkins can do it.  Although I've heard from one person on this list, I would be interested in hearing how your recovery went.  My son seems to think he'll pop in and out of the hospital and go right back to work.  When I told him I did not think that was the case, he got angry.  I know he's feeling angry and that's normal.  The original surgeon did not give him an explanation of the procedure and hospital stay etc. because my don decided to go to Johns Hopkins for the surgery.  So I guess doc figured it wasn't necessary.  I have tried to talk him into coming here after the surgery for some TLC but he also thinks that 'will probably not be necessary' - he lives alone.  Any advice ?thanksMrs. C Mrs. c Sat, 10 Feb 2007 00:00:00 GMT
