Hi sorry to hear about your little doggy are you sure there is nothing they can try. We had a scan and the vet has removed the tumour on thursday they have sent it off for analysis. He is quite confident they have removed it all and have put her on some medication to stunt the growth back accross the bladder. The tumour was on the neck of the bladder so he could easily remove it and he says there do not appear to be any more in the bladder, Hopefully this will give her a bit more time with us. She seems so well and you would not think there was anything wrong with her so we will have to go with this and give it a try. She is 13 and an old girl but if it gives her some extra time with us then it is worth it. You will try anything wont you just to help her. It is such a blow when you find out but I did ask lots of questions. Apparently they do grow back but if you have this medication the vet says she will have a chance that it may grow back more slowly and keep her well for a bit. It is early days and we have not had the results from the tumour removal. So we will just have to wait and see. Meanwhile she is being spoilt wrotten and has had cheese on toast for breakfast which she ate. See what you can look up about the disease on the webside.
