CancerCompass message board discussion started by Tadpole on 2/13/2007 http://www.cancercompass.com/message-board/message/all,9586,0.htm Fri, 10 Oct 2008 00:00:00 GMT Fri, 10 Oct 2008 00:00:00 GMT http://backend.userland.com/rss RSS.NET: http://www.rssdotnet.com/ I don't know what I should do.For well over a month now I've had occasional (sometimes daily, sometimes several times daily, sometimes closer to weekly) bleeding from my throat.  I can notice it when I lean my head forward and clear my throat.  It is usually accompanied by a minor, although occasionally more painful but still not severly painful, sore throat.Recently I saw an ENT about this and he looked in my throat with his mirror.  He said my throat looked good and that most likely it was dryness/weather-related (we are in the midst of some very cold and dry weather here in MN).I have never experienced a bleeding throat from dry weather before and have lived in MN my whole life.  Should I still be concerned about this?  Should I see a different ENT or wait a while?  How reliable or unreliable is visual inspection with a mirror in this case? Thanks for any comments. Tadpole Tue, 13 Feb 2007 00:00:00 GMT It's probably nothing but I would get a second opinion just to be certain.  I would go to see an ENT at a teaching hospital.  Again, this is probably nothing but this cancer is very treatable when caught early.  It is much more difficult to treat when missed.  Good luck.  You will be ok.
